Heavy Machine Guns
Heavy Machine guns are machine guns typically above rifle-caliber but below cannon-caliber (12.7mm/.50 cal, 14.5mm). They are often mounted on vehicles or aircraft in addition to being deployed on tripods. When used by infantry they are most likely used in a defensive role due to their weight.
