Micro Management is defined as a management style whereby a manager closely observes and/or controls the work of his/her subordinates.
In popular culture
At United Operations any player in a position of authority who does not rely on their subordinates to do their jobs is considered to be a Micromanager
The only Leaders expected(!) to directly manage their subordinates are the Fireteam Leaders.
