This is one of the most common air-dropped weapons in the world used since the early days of aviation. You can't find anything more reliable! The only inconvenience is that you have to be very close to the bad guys and is not known for its accuracy.
Learning objectives
- Know the type of ammunitions available and when to use them (high drag - low drag)
- Know the different delivery methods and how to use their HUD steering cues (CCIP - CCRP - DTOS)
- Set up the different settings of the SMS page (Fuze - arming delay - spacing etc)
- Know how to do a pop up attack using VIP-VRP pages of the UFC and their HUD symbology
